Thanks for this list. It can be VERY frustrating looking for actual clipart sites–you tend to find only flashing ads and tempting promises of “click art here!”

JD: You’re right. That’s why there are so few sites listed on this page. I searched for many hours just to find these.

Great information here. I’d like to mention my web site http://www.familyfungraphics.com it’s new and it’s growing. I offer original, high resolution clip art and I will design specific clip art upon request.

Hi Rheo: I’ll add http://www.familyfungraphics.com and some sample images to this page in the coming week.

I would like to find some clip art representing different grammar mistakes for my students to use to show that they found something wrong with their paper. I am giving them extra credit for, say finding a run on. I think they would be even more motivated if they could paste a little clip of something right into their paper. Any ideas??

Hi, Heidi. Try this page. I suspect that isn’t what you need, though, so your best bet would be to see if any of Picnik’s hundreds of images would work. You can get a blank file to upload and full instructions in my Picnik tutorial. Picnik is free and I think you’ll enjoy using it.
I hope you find what you need. Good luck!
